Job Title: EV Specialist
Role Overview
The EV Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicle high-voltage systems while ensuring safety, precision, and compliance with OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair EV systems including batteries, BMS, inverters, converters, traction motors, and REEV components
• Perform HV safety procedures, isolation testing, CAN diagnostics, and fault analysis using OEM tools
• Execute software updates, firmware flashing, and ECU calibration
• Conduct battery health checks, monitor SOH/SOC, and maintain cooling systems
• Ensure compliance with high-voltage safety standards and workshop protocols
• Support telematics, OTA diagnostics, and ECU communication troubleshooting
• Train technicians on EV systems and safety practices
• Prepare diagnostic, service, and warranty documentation
Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with EV high-voltage systems and diagnostics
• Knowledge of OEM procedures, BMS, power electronics, and safety compliance
• Ability to troubleshoot complex EV faults and support workshop teams
